Service as an Export

An article from TechCrunch on Google’s “secret” plan: http://techcrunch.com/2013/07/24/meet-helpouts-googles-secret-plan-to-bring-live-video-commerce-to-local-businesses/. Basically, with internet speed increasing and video conference capabilities spreading – some of the services that are previously not exportable are now exportable. Udacity (https://www.udacity.com/) and Kahn Academy (http://www.khanacademy.org/) are making it possible to export education as a service.

Before Google Helpouts, there was Google Answers: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=278360. It was a less successful version of Yahoo Answers (http://answers.yahoo.com/) that allows the asker to offer payment for higher quality answers.

Still, haircuts are not exportable yet ….
